Is This Seat Taken? a game developed by Poti Poti Studio received a release window during this morning’s Wholesome Direct along with the announcement that it’s coming to the Nintendo Switch. The trailer shows the player taking on a series of challenges involving placing cute lil’ geometric shapes in the correct places to solve their particular challenges.
While the player takes on the role of a disembodied yet omnipresent hand, the character behind the hand might be an aspiring actor named Nat who must play matchmaker for some not particularly social shapes. With the goal of figuring out the perfect placement for each person, Nat will go from limousines to diners and even to the office. There’s no telling where you’ll need to mix-up placement.
Whether it’s the cinema, a crowded bus, a wedding reception, or a cramped taxi cab, every setting introduces new characters with specific tastes. A party guest with a sensitive nose won’t be happy sitting next to a stranger who’s wearing too much cologne. A sleepy passenger won’t be happy trying to nap on the bus next to someone listening to loud music. It’s all about reading the room to find the perfect placement!
Game looks so darn cute. The trailer came with a release window and the announcement of a Nintendo Switch release shortly after the initial release for mobile and PC via Steam.
